SOLAR - "Sincerely Overpaid Losers And Reprobates"

So, a German company is planning on operating a solar energy business in Spain.

"Since when is that news?" you might ask.

Well - they're planning on doing it without taking any government subsidies.

Really!

Which is pretty impressive, until you read the article and see the following quote:

“We are seeking to open the way for subsidy-free solar in Spain, which is possible because grid parity is expected here next year,” Gomez said by phone.
"Grid parity"?

In other words, the Spanish government has managed to drive the price of conventional energy so high that solar is now competitive.

Welcome to the progressive left, where failure is not an option - it's the law!
